Winkler Arts and Culture, Inc. is a volunteer organization whose mission is focused on providing opportunities to share art in its various forms while celebrating the culture that brings art alive. Winkler Arts and Culture is dedicated to providing opportunities to teach, share and celebrate artistic and cultural expression, through education, programs and a community space.

Exhibit at Winkler Arts and Culture’s Gallery

Winkler Arts and Culture (WA+C) invites artists of all backgrounds and disciplines, and career stages to showcase their work in our gallery. Our exhibitions provide a platform for artists to connect with the community, share their creative vision, and engage in meaningful dialogue through the arts.

Why Exhibit with WA+C?

  • Community Reach: Our gallery a steady flow of visitors each month and provides opportunities for artists to connect with them.
  • Professional Presentation: We work closely with artists to curate exhibitions that highlight their work in a professional setting.
  • Supportive Team: From installation to promotion, WA+C staff and volunteers provide hands-on support throughout the process.
  • Opportunities to Sell: Artworks may be available for sale, with WA+C facilitating transactions on behalf of the artist.

Exhibition Opportunities

WA+C hosts a wide range of exhibitions throughout the year:

  • Solo Exhibitions – A chance to present your individual vision.
  • Group Exhibitions – Collaborative shows with multiple artists.
  • Themed/Member/Annual Community Exhibits – Including the Faces of Winkler, Member Shows, Member months (Upper Gallery), and more!

Artist Responsibilities

  • Submitting high-quality images and descriptions of proposed artwork.
  • Providing a short artist statement and biography.
  • Transporting artwork to and from the gallery.
  • Assisting with installation and de-installation if required.

What WA+C Provides

  • Professional gallery space with lighting and display systems.
  • Marketing and promotion across our website, social media, newsletter, and press releases.
  • Curatorial support from our team and committee.
  • Opening receptions or events, depending on the exhibit.

How to Apply

Our Main Gallery is currently accepting applications for 2027 and beyond.
Applications are reviewed by our Curating Committee on an ongoing basis.

-Kid's Classes--

Hey parents! Looking for a fun, creative way to keep the kids busy on PD days or Spring Break? Our Kids’ Creative Day Camps are open to ages 5–12 and run 9 AM–4 PM. Each day will be packed with different hands-on art projects; including painting, mixed med, crafts, origami, mixed media, and more! All supplies and snacks are included!

📅 PD days for 2025-26: Oct. 10 & 24, Nov. 21, Feb. 2, Mar. 20 Apr. 20, May 8.
🌸 Spring Break: Mar 30–Apr 3, 2026.
