We encourage people to ask us for help in finding a new author, a favorite old title or information on how to download ebooks or find the educational databases. Regardless of age, ability or ethnicity we are here to help everyone.

A free library card is available to anyoneliving in Altona, Manitou, Miami, Morden, Winkler, or the municipalities of Stanley, Rhineland,Thompson, or Pembina.Our friendly staff are always happy to help you discover a new author, track down a favourite title, orlearn how to use Libby for eBooks and audiobooks. Family Literacy Day

Bookland Explorers Summer Reading Club
Each summer, SCRL’s Book Land Explorers Summer Reading Club invites children of all ages to join thefun! Participants are encouraged to read throughout the summer and track their minutes reading ontheir own or with an adult. With a new theme each year, the program typically runs from late June tomid-August. Visit your local branch to register and start exploring!
Library Month
October is Library Month! Join us as we celebrate with prizes for our patrons as a thank-you for yourcontinued support, along with special programs throughout the month for all ages and interests. Towrap it all up, enjoy a fun quiz night hosted in one of our five communities!
