PVLIP strives to create Welcoming & Inclusive Communities by developing and implementing sustainable solutions for successful integration of newcomers in the Pembina Valley.We work with stakeholders, decision makers, newcomer voices and community partners on projects that will make our communities more welcoming and increase a sense of belonging for newcomers in the region.

Pembina Valley Local Immigration Partnership (PVLIP)
Communities across Canada are recognizing the importance of newcomers while making immigration a main component of their plans for the future.
Local Immigration Partnerships are a means to systematize local engagement of service providers and other stakeholders to assist in a successful integration process for newcomers and provide more welcoming and inclusive communities.
The Pembina Valley Local Immigration Partnership (PVLIP) is a multi-sector partnership designed to:
- improve the integration of immigrants and newcomers in the Pembina Valley, and to
- Strengthen the region’s ability to better address the needs of newcomers.
